Tamara Barboza, MS

Occupational Therapy, Boston University, Sargent College
Interviewed by: Dr. Jason Moats

Ms. Barboza provides a boots-on-the-ground, or rather, boots-in-the-hospital perspective for roboticists to consider.
Ms. Barboza has a Masters of Science in Healthcare Emergency Management from Boston University and afterwards worked as the Safety Operations Coordinator for Mass Eye and Ear, a Boston teaching hospital, where she managed and led public safety operations and environment of care, including emergency management drills and exercises. She is now pursuing her doctorate in occupational therapy with her capstone project on disaster management. Ms. Barboza is interviewed by Dr. Jason Moats, an Associate Division Director of the Emergency Services Training Institute, Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service, with a joint appointment with the Bush School of Government and Public Policy at Texas A&M.
